Ingredients
- 1 can of biscuit dough, crescent roll dough, or pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed or grated (or a blend of mozzarella and cheddar for extra flavor)
- 1 cup beef pepperoni slices, cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
- Marinara sauce or ranch, for dipping
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- If using store-bought dough, roll it out on a floured surface. For homemade dough, roll out to about ¼-inch thickness.
Step 2: Prepare Cheese and Beef Pepperoni
- Cut cheese into cubes or grate if desired. Chop beef pepperoni slices into smaller pieces to fit inside the dough squares.
Step 3: Assemble the Pizza Bombs
- Cut the dough into 2-3 inch squares.
- Place a cube of cheese and a few pieces of beef pepperoni on each dough square.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal securely. Roll each filled dough square gently to form a smooth ball.
Step 4: Season and Brush
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Brush the top of each pizza bomb with the butter mixture.
Step 5: Bake
- Place the pizza bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
- Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Storage Tips: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or an air fryer to maintain the crisp texture.
- Customization: Try different fillings like veggies, other meats, or spice blends to personalize your pizza bombs.
- Dough Options: Biscuit, pizza, or crescent roll doughs each provide a unique texture, so experiment to find your favorite.
